Beach Clubs
In Italy, a beach club (called lido in Italian) is a private section of the beach where you can rent sunbeds, umbrellas, and often have access to showers and changing rooms. Many beach clubs also have a bar or restaurant, so you can enjoy drinks, snacks, or a full lunch without leaving the seaside.
There are plenty of beach clubs along the lungomare of Cefalù, and since mid-September is outside of peak season, you shouldn’t have trouble finding a spot. That said, we wanted to highlight a few favorites here because these particular clubs are popular and can sell out even in quieter months.
Calette Reef Club
Part of the Calette Hotel, this beach club is known for its breathtaking views of the rocky coastline and turquoise sea. It’s on the pricier side compared to other options, but many say it’s worth it for the setting and atmosphere. Even if you aren’t staying at the hotel, you can purchase a guest pass to spend the day enjoying the club.

Calette Beach
Calette Beach is part of the Alberi del Paradiso hotel. Guests staying at the hotel can take advantage of a free shuttle service that brings you directly to the beach. If you’re not a hotel guest, you can still enjoy the beach by purchasing a day pass, which gives you access to the facilities.
